The Children’s School of Arts in the Tuapse region received the first batch of new musical instruments

The institution of the village of Novomikhaylovsky is being re-equipped under the national project “Culture”.

– An electronic percussion instrument, keyboard harps, two domras, three balalaikas – prima, bass and double bass – have already been delivered to the children’s art school. All instruments are concert, professional. Thanks to harps and balalaikas it is planned to expand the composition of the ensemble of folk instruments, – said the director of the institution Irina Tsvetkova.

The art school will also receive two concert accordions, which can be performed at professional competitions and festivals, five pianos, interactive equipment, etching machine, 20 easels, 10 rotating tables of the sculptor and educational materials.

According to the Kuban Ministry of Culture, 5.7 million rubles have been allocated for tools and equipment from the budgets of all levels. Contracts for their acquisition have already been concluded. Most deliveries are scheduled for April.

In the children’s art school of the village of Novomikhaylovsky named after GF Ponomarenko has more than 450 children studying choreography, art and music.

For several years in a row, the school received new musical instruments: in 2018 – piano, in 2019 – xylophone, in 2020 – big and small drums and orchestral cymbals.

In total, thanks to the national project “Culture” since 2019, children’s schools and art colleges in the region have received about 500 new musical instruments. In 2022, 25 organizations will receive musical instruments, equipment and educational literature, according to the press service of the Krasnodar Krai administration.
