Figures of 3D birds, torn off by vandals, returned to the retaining wall near the “Art Gallery” stop in Vladivostok. They were found in the grass on the next street, though not all. It is unclear who and why needed to spoil the art object and scatter its elements around the district.
We will remind, volume figures of Far Eastern birds – a dead end, a sparrow, a pigeon, a whistler, a bullfinch, a falcon, a red-tailed deer – appeared on the retaining wall in the area of Partizansky Avenue, 24 last September during the graffiti festival. Last Friday, the organizers of the festival from the Advanced Team noticedthat out of 7 figures only two remained in place, the rest disappeared.
The guys went on a search and found four figures in the grass. They have already been restored and returned to the wall.
“We found them the same day. Not everyone, however, is missing one, I do not know where she is. They were scattered all over Nerchinskaya. They brought it to them, repaired it, painted it, and returned it to its former color. As early as 7 am the next day, I screwed them back to the wall. Operated quickly. Let the birds continue to delight the residents and guests of the city. I hope we will try to restore another bird later, ”said festival curator Denis Gorbunov.
Due to the fact that one figure is missing, the others had to be moved a bit. The overall picture is positive, he says.
Earlier in the city hall the correspondent of VL.ru was told that the right to file a statement to the police – for the authors of the project. The guys believe that since the city walls are the prerogative of officials. They themselves went to the neighboring establishments, where there are cameras, and asked to see the archive. So far there was no answer.
