Three people were trapped after the crash at the Obukhovskaya mine in the Rostov region, they were contacted, they are alive, RBC was told by Marina Abramchenko, head of the press service of the Rostov Region Ministry of Emergencies.
The message about the collapse of the mine in the Krasnosulinsky district was received at 08:35. Rescuers and firefighters arrived at the scene, according to operative information, three people were under the rubble. Later, these data were confirmed, they managed to get in touch with the stuck, they are all alive, the Ministry of Emergency Situations added.
On data Rostechnadzor, on February 8, the bridge on which coal is transported collapsed at this mine. No one was injured in the accident, the North Caucasus Department is establishing the technical causes of the accident.
The Obukhovskaya mine was previously owned by the Ukrainian company DTEK. In August last year it happened knownthat the company sells assets in the Rostov region, including the mine. According to the latter datathe mine is owned by Donugol.
