Pianists at the Rachmaninoff Competition chose grand pianos for performances

On June 15, 2022, the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory hosted a selection of pianos for participants in the Rachmaninoff Competition.

Instruments from three manufacturers were presented at the competition: Steinway & Sons, Yamaha and Kawai.

Most of the participants chose the Steinway & Sons piano: Anastasia Mahamendrikova, Alexei Trushechkin, Konstantin Khachikyan, Arseniy Tarasevich-Nikolaev, Andrei Ivanov, Valentin Malinin, Boao Zhang, Ivan Bessonov, Philip Lynov, Dmitry Sinen, Philip Guron.

Yamaha piano was chosen by: Marina Yakhlakova, Stanislav Korchagin, Gleb-Iosif Romanchukevich, Lyubov Glazova, Estefan Vergara Jacekiv, Anton Yashkin, Ilya Papoyan, Eva Gevorgyan, Alexander Klyuchko.

Kawai Piano was chosen by: Lingfei Xie and Yuanheng Zhu.
