Mark Wahlberg plans to end his acting career

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mark Wahlberg talked about wanting to leave the movies to spend more time with his family.

“It simply came to our notice then. “There must be a special occasion to force me to return, to leave home and my family, because this is my greatest sacrifice possible,” Wahlberg said.

Before coming to the movies, Wahlberg was involved in rap music and worked part-time in the modeling business. His breakthrough in Hollywood came in the 1990s with “The Basketball Player’s Diaries” and “Boogie Nights.” During his career, Wahlberg received two Oscar nominations (“Apostates”; “Fighter”). and in 2017 topped the list of the highest paid actors in the world according to Forbes.

Now the actor is involved in promoting a new film “Father Stu”. According to the plot, Wahlberg’s hero, a former boxer and biker, becomes a priest. Mark Gibson became Mark’s colleague on the site. Especially for the role, Wahlberg gained 30 pounds (13.5 kg). The film will be released in the US on April 13.
