New restrictions on catching aquatic bioresources will be introduced in the Don region. Information about this appeared on the website of the Azov-Black Sea Territorial Department of Rosrybolovstva.

The measure will run from April 1 to May 31 within the entire Rostov region. It must allow the fish to swim freely to spawning grounds.

“At the moment, additional restrictions on fishing are being set, and the joint work of fish protection with law enforcement agencies, public organizations and local governments is being strengthened,” the statement said.

It will be recalled that Donetsk residents face administrative and criminal liability for violating fishing rules.
