The St. Vvedensky Church under construction was looted and set on fire on the evening of March 1. The fire was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Rostov region.

– The attackers broke into the first basement of the temple, breaking the glass. They committed a pogrom there. Not only that – they committed theft. Two crosses were stolen, as well as some church utensils, a laptop that belonged to the accountant of this parish, – the press secretary of the Don metropolitanate Igor Petrovsky told 161.RU.

He added that in the temple, intruders opened Mayevsky’s tap on the heating and flooded part of the room. They tore down the curtains, gathered them in a pile and set them on fire.
