The make-up artists did their best.
Shooting of the third part of the fantasy action movie “Guardians of the Galaxy” is in full swing. The long-awaited picture did not have time to be released, as already noted in the world record.
Marvel movies are known for their special effects, vivid images of superheroes and villains. But not everything in the creation of such expensive projects is done with the help of computer graphics.
Guardians director James Gunn shared the good news with the film crew and fans. It turned out that the film set a new world record for the number of cosmetics used in movies. The last record belonged to the 2000 comedy The Grinch – The Kidnapper of Christmas with Jim Carrey in the lead role.
“I just heard from our makeup artists from Legacy Effects that yesterday was officially set a world record for” the largest number of cosmetics created for a single film production. ” Congratulations, guys! Thank you for maintaining the practical effects! ” – wrote the director on his page in Twitter.
