Today it became known that the main roles of the future film got their actors. One of them was Felix Mallard, the star of the Netflix hit “Ginny and Georgia”.

Green’s bestseller tells the story of Aza Holmes, a young girl suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder. One day, the city where she lives is shocked by the incredible news: billionaire Russell Pickett is missing. For information about his whereabouts, a large reward is set, which dreams of his girlfriend Aza Daisy. To find Pickett, Aza agrees to resume contact with his son David, with whom she was in love as a child. But will anything good come out of it?


The Ginny and Georgia project was a breakthrough for Mallard. With “Turtles”, the 23-year-old actor will be able to consolidate his status as a promising newcomer to Hollywood.

According to the Deadline portal, 23-year-old Mallard got the role of David Pickett, the son of the missing billionaire and the main character’s love interest. The role of Daisy, the girlfriend of the main character, who made her get involved in the story, will be played by 19-year-old actress Cree Chicchino, who starred in the first season of the sensational sequel “Sex and the City” – “Just like that”.

According to readers, “Turtles” could not bypass the previous works of the author, but the novel became a bestseller in the United States, selling two million copies, and was translated into more than 20 languages.

John Green woke up famous after Fox 2000 Pictures released a film adaptation of his novel The Blame the Stars in 2014. The romantic film became a crazy hit, grossing more than $ 300 million worldwide with a budget of $ 12 million, and also brought to life Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, for whom the film was a career breakthrough.
