Hollywood actor Channing Tatum enjoyed dancing on the set of the 2006 musical drama Step Forward. Now the 41-year-old star has the idea to launch his own dance show.

According to the publication The Wrap, the production company Tatum Free Association is going to create a division of FA Live, which will be responsible for stage projects. And the first of them will be “Step forward”, which will be connected to the Lionsgate studio. The project is scheduled to be released in mid-2023.

Choreographers from Tatum’s films “Super Mike” will perform the dance numbers. As for the plot, the project will continue the story of “Step Forward”, its screenings will be held in a specially created place. It will also be something like an academy for young dancers, giving talented children the opportunity to learn from masters.

Recall that the franchise “Step Forward”, launched in 2006, currently has five films and two seasons of the series. Channing starred only in the first two films, then he directed his love of dance to the “Super Mike” franchise, in which he plays a stripper.
