Books by six local authors will be published in the Altai Territory. The expert council selected the publications from 46 applications, reports press service of the regional government.

Anatoly Kirilin’s book “Procession of Lanterns” will be published from fiction.
There will also be two collections of poetry – Valery Dashkevich’s “Live” and Ivan Obraztsov’s “Living Hills”.
The winner in the category “Literature for children and youth” was the book by Eugenia Garms “Abduction from the closet.”
The best works on local lore were the books by Yuri Kreidun and Ivan Obraztsov “Historical Chronicles of the XVIII century: Grado-Barnaul Peter and Paul Cathedral”, as well as “The Tradition of Mount Turin” by Vladimir Moskvitin.
The competition for the publication of literary works has been held in the region since 2009. Over the 11 years of its holding, more than 61,000 copies of books by more than 80 authors have been published. The main part of the circulation is transferred to the libraries of the Altai Territory.
Earlier it became known, that the book of the Barnaul writer got in the long list of the main literary prize of the country.
