Champion of three Grand Slam tournaments, Australian Ashley Barty, previously completed her career, will release a series of children’s books called “Little Ash”. The first copies will appear in stores on July 6.
Barty admitted that she was inspired to write the book by her niece Lucy.
“This project seemed very fun to me, I always wanted to do it. Lucy was my guiding star. She is at an ideal age, she already perceives stories and storylines, she reads books a little by herself. It will be great to read to her, and I also want to organize readings for children in rural areas, ”Barty was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old Barty ended her career as the world’s first racket. This became known in late March.
