On April 3, the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan will host a presentation of a new book by local historian Alexei Klochkov “Kazan Posad: Walls and Fates”. This was reported by the press service of the cultural institution.
“The book will help to make a mental journey along the line of defensive fortifications of the Kazan post and trace the history of the city until the beginning of the XIX century,” the report said.
The publication is a collection of historical essays. Prior to that, Alexei Klochkov published popular science books “Kazan from the windows of the tram” and “Kazan: lairs of wet streets.”
