The Seim TV company reports on a tragic incident in the Medven district. Here, as a result of an explosion of ammunition during the Great Patriotic War, 1 person died and 1 was wounded.
According to the TV company, a 19-year-old boy died. The dead young man and his brother found an iron object and decided to use it on the farm. According to various sources, it could be a mine or an artillery shell from the Great Patriotic War. The blast killed an older man, and his younger brother is in hospital with a serious leg injury.
Kursk interdistrict investigation department of the SU of the IC of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article. 109 of the Criminal Code (causing death by negligence).
