#MYVMESTE Donation Festival took place in Balakovo. Balakovo volunteers held a big event in the Children’s Park behind the former Oktyabr cinema, which was attended by schoolchildren and families with children.
The holiday was organized by the Complex Center for Social Services together with the Palace of Culture. It is symbolic that such a good Festival takes place on Easter Week.
The event included sites with master classes from “silver” volunteers of the Center for Social Services to create jewelry from St. George’s ribbon and jewelry in the form of flowers.
Children enjoyed playing the forgotten yard games of Soviet childhood: rubber bands, skipping ropes, classics. The secrets of these games were also revealed to them by elderly volunteers of the center. I would like to note that the games on the holiday were very diverse, as they say “for every taste.”
Big floor games from the volunteers of the Youth Initiative Center, such as chess, jenga, fifteen, scales, could not fail to attract the attention of the event participants. The local branch of the All-Russian Society of the Disabled taught everyone to play the most interesting board games. The participants of the festival also got acquainted with an unusual sports game – petanque, which was conducted for them by the head of the club Igor Krasnoperov.
The site of medical volunteers from the “Harmony of Soul and Body” detachment of Balakovo Medical College was very popular, where everyone could measure their blood pressure and check other health indicators, as well as get advice on disease prevention and healthy living.
During the event, the action “Good Books” was held, organized jointly with the Balakovo branch of the “Fighting Brotherhood”. Everyone brought books for children from the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Pupils of school участие 2 took an active part in the action.
Bright vocal and dance numbers from the Palace of Culture gave a real feeling of celebration. Music spread throughout the park, creating a good mood for everyone who joined the event and everyone who just walked around.
The children were delighted by the “silver” volunteers of the social service center in the costumes of a tiger and a piglet and cheerful clowns from the Balakovo branch of the Society of the Disabled. The event ended with a bright sports flashmob from the “silver volunteers” of the social service center.
